I finally made my way through the hell that is my college and was able to get my damned Latin class to count as my HU Gen Ed! That meant i could drop a class this semester and still graduate at the end of the summer so YAY!

Tasha Update: She's still hanging on, just skin and bones she can't keep anything down, poor baby. i also think she can't sleep. Damn. then again she is 15 thats old for a puppy, she hasn't been the same since Kaylar (her bitch (they were the cutest pair) passed away next year. I think Leta and Belanna are worried about her they keep going up to her sniffing her and running to us to help her.

Poor Tasha. At least the other dogs are being considerate of her. 15 is a good age but I know that isn't much comfort at the moment.

At least amongst all the upset you managed to get your academic life sorted out. I wouldn't have thought of you as the type to study Latin.

i know, actually i was much more torn up by Kaylar's passing, Tasha was always more of a cat then a dog and she always liked my sister better. It just she was the first puppy i ever wasn't scared of.

oh and the latin, i can't speak other langages, i tried but i can: french, hebrew, english i'm really bad at all of them and at my old school i needed to take 4 semesters of a language and i decided to take one i didn't have to speak. Turns out if you can't spell either your screwed too.

Poor dog. It's always horrible to see a dog get like that.

Since before we moved here to Manitoba, we had a dog named Pepper. A couple years ago, she had to be put down. She was about 17 years old and she couldn't walk or eat or anything anymore. She was a great dog and I miss her.

It was horrible to see her suffer.

Aww... Poor tasha,
and poor xandra, you and your pups will be in my prayers. I had a 19 year old cat she died peacefully in her sleep last year.

I’m so sorry to hear about Tasha! Poor thing, it must be horrible to see her suffer like that, when my childhood cat reached the end of his rope, it was equally painful to see him fight for his breath and when the veteran decided to put him down, we were still mad at him, because he didn’t call to get our consent and that he had to die alone, that was even more painful. We all felt like we had him let down, but we thought he could get some new drugs to increase his last months and were just there overnight for observation. God, I’m still getting angry at the doc seven years later. I’m glad she is at home and that the other dogs are giving her their attention and your whole family the affection she needs. *hugs*
