requiem for a dream

so i just saw "requiem for a dream" in my Philopshy in Film class and can i just ask anyone out there is it just me or did after it end make you feel like you should just make a running leap off a cliff? Also make you feel like your going through withdrawl?

Sorry Xandra I only made it through the first ten minutes. I have a terrible track record with cult films. I love loads of cult tv shows but cult films not so much.

yeah me neither, i tend to walk away feeling like they are full of shit. lol. And really in this story i didn't connect with the characters, well i liked the black guy at least a little more then the others but it just leaves me feeling like shit, and now after my 'bad' i wish i was dead friday i'm still not completely recovered. Bastards.
