Xandra's TV Habits.
Oct. 11th, 2006 05:19 pmYou'd expect a post on my birthday to be about my birthday but this one isn't haha. Just desided to post a list of my TV watching habits this season.
Shows I Won't Miss
Studio Sixty on the Sunset Strip - Totally Kick Ass!
Weeds - Second Season and still going strong.
Eureka - Season ended but I loved the show and never mentioned it.
Boston Legal - classic
Criminal Minds - not the most orginal idea but very likable characters and well worked out stories.
Project Runway - not as good as season two but no bad. I saw pictures of the final collection and i have no clue who will win.
Dexter- Who doesn't love seriel killers. Plus Darla.
Shows I... well i watch them and then think: Do I still want to be emotionally invested in this... answers vary week to week
well that was long... onto the list:
Heroes - I just don't know if i like it.
SVU - Waiting for Olivia to come back, though any episode with Munch makes me happy.
LOST - I think everyone knows why this is here. 5 Minutes of good stuff is to be reckoned with.
Grey's - I thought this show went downhill from the superbowl episode but I still am left want to see almost all the characters fail.
CSI - I record it because its good to watch at 3am.
Battlestar - I don't like it, it gets to preachy and yet i still watch... glutton for punishment? I think so.
Shows From the BBC
This summer and Fall and even back in the spring i became huge fans of several BBC Shows. I'm Skipping my gateway show of Dr. Who.
Spooks - Got the dvd and watched them all so fast everyother show seemed mellow to me. And so happy the new season started.
Life On Mars - I was late arriving to this mindfuck and glad i finally checked it out.
Robin Hood - Just started and i don't hate it.
Sinchronicity - Just started this one. Nice to see the lesbian ghost from Hex in something new.
well thats all for now. I'll probably remember more later. feel free to comment. Nothing i love more then talking about and agruing about TV lol.

on 2006-10-14 04:45 am (UTC)I can definitely relate to having to lower your standards when it comes to watching things in the early hours of the morning. What seems crap at 9pm can be strangely compelling 5 hours later.
On BSG I find the cylons very confusing. At first I thought they had a borg style hive mind but then it became obvious that Sharon and Six had quite distinct personalities and experiences. So I thought each individual cylon was shaped by its experiences but in the recent ep each model seemed to share a personality. Also during the occupation surely the humans have spotted who the rest of the 12 models are.

on 2006-10-14 04:56 am (UTC)They also keep talking about converting the humans to their religous belief then why aren't they teaching it to them? they are just kidnapping and killing.
well the premise for my Eureka ep is that twenty years ago a senoir at the high school hacked Global Dynamics and got a big reward out of it. this them the senoirs at the high school use one week out of their senior year to pull pranks on the town. Mostly it's geeky stuff, but this year it gets personal as Carter's Car is vandelized. He goes to the school to try to deal with the students when the school is triggard into a lockdown. The secondary plot is going to have to do with JO and Allision but i have no clue what it will be yet, any ideas?
