So i kinda felt like the episode was kinda like that scheme the Dr. and Ronan tried to cook up. Potential for something kinda cool but missing the door. It just felt like with all the pair ups something was missing.

The uneven Shepard/Teyla mash up where they didn't address his general weirdness about her being pregnant and why he has kinda been acting like he's the father (or is that just me).

What was the point they were trying to make about Zelekia and Sam, except Sam kicks his ass in science and is nicer to him then Rodney. I assume they issue they almost but didn't end up hitting on was with her around, he's job of back up science geek goes to her, making him turning off the power all the more growing for the character.

And Rodney/Katie... okay are we supposed to buy this couple? i mean seriously, was there really any believable contact between them? Doesn't even seem like they've spent much time in the same room together. And she's kinda weak, and helpless with him and absolutely no personality.. Which i guess was the point to show they weren't right for each other... but really it just didn't seem like they're relationship went beyond "talking".

sorry to rant, but i hate it when shows aren't focused.
