Yes, Yes... Torchwood is my crack these days..... And yes these random midnight thoughts are pretty much only about Ianto's segment.

- Okay I love that we had to fill in the gaps with him, and them not bring up he had Lisa stashed somewhere trying to get her into to T3.

- Second. I love manipulative Ianto... and him trying three ways of doing it. Weevil Hunter, Eager Kid and Young Professional. I loved all three looks.

- Okay, I'm so happy for once he's not the "young genius" me likes the average student and shoplifter.

- I keep wondering if he actually did have a "net" already and was just playing scared to get Jack interested. Cause that thing seems to like Ianto. him and jack catching it together does make Jack seemed even darker using to at Lisa in Cyberwoman

- Most people keep going on about how Ianto was said realizing he was attracted to Jack (with lisa still being alive) which is why he got all sad faced when he was leaving. What struck me as more interesting that after everything and Jack seemly picking his team carefully he hires Ianto because he gave him that "funny feeling in his pants" lol.

EDIT: this is for those that know me and my leanings to the inapropreatly older character and actors i tend to fall in love with. August 1983! Ianto is only supposed to be 2 months older then me? and i still love him? no that cant be right!

I actually thought the expression was such brilliant acting on GDL's part - it had relief over finally getting in, remembering the very sad reason he wants to get in, being shocked at feeling attracted to someone other than Lisa, being shocked at being attracked to Jack. But to me, a *lot* of it was relief and sadness over Liza. I don't think it really had anything to do with getting hired because he gave Jack that funny feelings in the pants, because it's quite clear from the episode he'll do anything to get in and doesn't care why he gets in as long as he does. He doesn't want the job for the job, he's desperate to get the job because he needs it to help Liza. And he obviously never had a problem in the show being a sexual interest for Jack, there's even mention of it in the first episode when they joke around about sexual harrassment.

LOL. you misunderstood. OR i wrote my point very poorly, (which i'm pretty sure i did) Considering I've spent five minutes trying to explain what i meant. I was being satirical. I thought GDL was brilliant and totally got his emotions and guilt and all that (as i had a 10 minute phone conversation with my mother about it. ) Also then i read other thoughts on it and no one took Jack's POV and to me it looked like he hired Ianto because he turned him on, and after he had been so careful trying to pick "his new team" it seemed pretty funny. well to me....

Did that makes sense? or have i lost the ability to lose my translate my brain into words? lol

lol, its okay. Now i must go crazy vidding now that i have finally found my "Ianto" song. Now to see if i can actually make it work.
