Torchwood Fanfiction Pet Peeve #1

Alright so there is no doubt i read a lot of Doctor Who/Torchwood fanfic... more so then may be heathy. However there is one thing that annoys the hell out of me: there is one misconception that pops up 50% of the time in Torchwood fanfic: Jack's office is not UPSTAIRS! My god its on the same level as Owen's and Tosh's desk. granted i think there might be stairs going the other way into his office... but no not from Tosh's or Owen's desks.

Sorry, just needed to rant.

Seriously. I'm not in the Torchwood fandom but this cracked me up just because I do the same stuff with Harry Potter and such.

haha. well it was driving me crazy when i was trying to write my own fic and study the map for a while. and i kept wanting to put stairs there because of it lol. its just evil

but i'm glad you can empathize with my pain, and i do with yours... though when i wrote anything in Hogwarts in the past i always had them get lost to help me skirt past the "where is that" confusion.
